Here I have a good looking and interesting time line infographic from the luxury furniture store Sofa Workshop all about the history of the sofa. The infographic begins way back in 3100-2500 BC when people use to place stone boxes next to their fireplace and goes all the way through to fairly recent times such as in the 1960s when contemporary designs became popular with bright colours, patterns and organic shapes.
